چکیده
Cancer is the second leading cause of mortality worldwide preceded by cardiovascular diseases. The therapeutic approaches for drug developmentinclude use small molecules, antibodies, peptidesor short nucleic acid sequences. peptide-based drugs have been developed to treat many diseases like diseases, cancer, metabolic disorders, immunological and viral infections. More than 80 peptide are already in market. These peptides several important benefits over antibodies proteins due their size, ease chemical synthesis further ability penetrate cell membrane. Furthermore, high specificity, activity, affinity. plant defensins BcDef1, TPP3, NaD1, 2N2R 2LR3 studied role wide range This study focussed on conformation rich disulfide bonds. structure BcDef1 has predicted from conformational ensemble. Then, we designed anticancer these with computational methods. immunogenicity as well homology human proteome. suggested interferon-gamma induction, later shown possess a very cancer.

Cancer is one of the causes of death in the world. Several treatment methods exist against cancer cells such as radiotherapy and chemotherapy. Since traditional methods have side effects on normal cells and are expensive, identification and developing a new method to cancer therapy is very important. متن کاملPlant Antimicrobial Peptides as Potential Anticancer Agents
Antimicrobial peptides (AMPs) are part of the innate immune defense mechanism of many organisms and are promising candidates to treat infections caused by pathogenic bacteria to animals and humans. AMPs also display anticancer activities because of their ability to inactivate a wide range of cancer cells. Cancer remains a cause of high morbidity and mortality worldwide. Therefore, the developme...

متن کاملInteractions of AsCy3 with Cysteine-Rich Peptides
There is great interest in fluorogenic compounds that tag biomolecules within cells. Biarsenicals are fluorogenic compounds that become fluorescent upon binding four proximal Cys thiols, a tetracysteine (Cys(4)) motif. This work details interactions between the biarsenical AsCy3 and Cys(4) peptides. Maximal affinity was observed when two Cys-Cys pairs were separated by at least 8 amino acids; t...
متن کاملCysteine-rich peptides (CRPs) mediate diverse aspects of cell-cell communication in plant reproduction and development.
Cell-cell communication in plants is essential for the correct co-ordination of reproduction, growth, and development. Studies to dissect this mode of communication have previously focussed primarily on the action of plant hormones as mediators of intercellular signalling. In animals, peptide signalling is a well-documented intercellular communication system, however, relatively little is known...
